Do I need to buy a 3D printer?
It is the question that many professionals in the sector ask themselves and from our experience we will try to shed a little light on this issue.
Buying a 3D printer not only involves the purchase of this powerful tool but also other machines and consumables that we have to take into account if we want to obtain prints with the minimum margin of error. Making a brief list we can highlight the following products:

- CAD software and model creator (±5,000€)
- SLA post-curing lamp (±2,500€)
- Adaptation of the workplace to avoid deterioration of the resins due to UV radiation and temperature.
- Consumables necessary for 3D printing (Resins ±200€, printing tanks ±100€, construction platforms ±250€, isopropyl alcohol, gloves, etc.)
To all this we have to add the learning curve and the time that must be dedicated to 3D printing. Let's put the numbers on the table:
